Visit Options

Every student’s journey begins with curiosity — and often, the first step is simply walking onto campus. A Kirby visit is an invitation to see our teachers teaching, our students learning, and our community thriving. Whether you come for a shadow day visit, attend an open house, or connect virtually, our goal is that you leave with a clear sense of who we are.

Open Houses

Open House is an opportunity for the whole family to explore Kirby. Meet teachers across disciplines, see student work, and talk with current parents.

Shadow Days

Prospective students can spend a day alongside a current Kirby student — attending classes, eating lunch in the café, and experiencing the rhythm of a school day. Shadow days are especially recommended for middle school applicants.

Campus Tours

Led by our admissions team, tours offer families the chance to see classrooms, meet faculty, and learn about daily life at Kirby. Tours are available by appointment throughout the year.

Virtual Connections

For families unable to visit in person, we offer live virtual tours and Q&A sessions with admissions staff and faculty.

When my kid got in the car after the shadow day, he was so lit up with wonder—I almost didn't recognize him.
