Admissions Application Process
Kirby considers applications year-round through a rolling admissions process, with priority given to applications received by March 1. Financial aid applications are processed independently, but must be submitted with an admissions application by the priority deadline on March 1.
The Basics
- Submit a printed copy of the Parent and Student Application, along with the $75 application fee, to the Admissions Office (no electronic submission)
- Give the transcript request and English, math, and principal or counselor recommendation forms (in hard copy or electronic PDF versions) to your student’s current school with the request that they mail the forms to Kirby (Attn: Admissions Office) as soon as possible
- The Admissions Office will schedule a student interview and a writing assessment (typically after all application materials, including transcripts and recommendations, have been received)
- Kirby does not use or require standardized entrance exams such as the SSAT or ISEE
